Gourd and Wood Art by Alan and Nedra Denison

In our galleries you will find a wonderful collection of unique hand-made art by Alan & Nedra Denison.  Our galleries include art on canvas, gourds and wood.

 

I have broken our galleries into "his" and "hers" but one thing we both have in common...we have both been involved in art since childhood. Alan has been working with wood since he was 11 years old and I have been painting and drawing since I was about 13 years old.

 

Alan finds working with his hands to be a great source of pleasure and relaxation. While my mediums have changed over the years I am still very passionate about working with gourds as well as pyrography and find it very relaxing as well as therapeutic.

 

Alan's galleries contain all of his woodcarvings, fretwork crosses and clocks and a variety of other woodworking projects. My galleries contain pyrography on wood, leather and canvas, gourd art and chip carving. All of our work is hand made and not mass produced.
